LightBox Cake

As some of you may know, I am doing some stock photography for istockphoto.com It's been such a great experience so far and I'm learning alot. A couple of months ago, I wanted to properly light my "subjects" and Mike helped me build my own lightbox. Yesterday was my husband's birthday and we bought a cake and I couldn't resist not taking pictures of it. I can try and use them for my istock! So I got my lightbox and took these:

Here is a shot of the setup. My lightbox with a light above and my tripod to help steady my camera (which was being used to take the picture ;)

Lighting and Ships

Just a couple fun pics to post. The first one was last week during a way sweet thunderstorm. I couldn't resist taking pictures of it.

Secondly, my husband and I went on our first cruise and this photo of the ship deck turned out awesome. I love how bright and clean it is.
