Kaylee's Senior Portraits - St George Utah Senior Photographer

I've been dying to take pictures of my beautiful sister-in-law for awhile! We finally set a date to take her senior pictures. I'm so excited about them! I had a lot of fun playing around with lighting. It was fun to shoot a variety too, like her being in her basketball and soccer uniforms on the playing fields. Can't wait to do another senior portrait shoot!

My Family Pictures - Christensen Family

Whew! Last post of the day! I really need to keep up on blogging my shoots!

So last but not least is my side of the family, and my own personal family. I chose Pine Valley to do our pictures. It's such a beautiful place in this world. Quite, calm, serene, and cool! It has tall grass, old large trees, old cabins, fields, etc. I would live there if I could. Maybe one day :)

My family pictures were just like family pictures happen to be. I wish I could say it went absolutely perfect and smoothly, but even the photographer's family has mishaps. My son started freaking out at one point because he realized he was standing in ants (he was unharmed, but wow did he throw a fit!), my 3 month old was practically perfect though. And the dog ran away at one point too and had to pause the pictures while my brother high-tailed it for him. I also had to do a bunch of body swapping, face swapping, and editing out. When we took the group photo below, a dog from a nearby family cabin followed us and appeared right in the front of our best picture. I did our big group shot and a tripod and timer! My brother took the other photos with me in them. I'm very excited with these pictures, and I have a beautiful 20x30 canvas of my family now hanging in my living room that I am so excited about. Alright enough of me jabbering on, here are the pictures!:

Just so you know, my brothers are completely photoshopped in from a different picture because they had weird expressions/poses from trying to get the little black dog out of the picture which I also photoshopped out, my 4 year old son's face in photoshopped in from a different picture because he wouldn't smile. Whew! A lot of work but it was worth it :)

My beautiful family! I'm a lucky girl!

American Gothic recreation. We found this old pitchfork. When we told my mom to be serious, she couldn't haha.

I have the cutest kids!

Gracia Family - St George Utah Child and Family Photographer

This family session was SO FUN! My best friend and her husband and her adorable 6 month old daughter was a blast to photograph. Babies are the best! I giggled and laughed and smiled until my cheeks hurt for this session. I'm very excited about these pictures! It's always an honor when someone chooses me to be their photographer, but it's a cherry on top when your best friend has me be her photographer :) Love ya Jen!

hehe isn't this the best?!

Davis - Newborn Session - St George Utah Newborn and Baby Photographer

I couldn't get over how TINY Davis was! When I photographed him, my baby was about 2 1/2 months old (now 3 1/2 months). And wow what a difference it was to see a week old baby compared to an 11 week old. They grow SO fast! The newborn stage is so quick and precious. Newborn sessions are one of my absolute favorites to photograph because of this reason. Capture them while they are so little! Davis was probably one of my best babies I've ever photographed. He was so content and sleepy most of the time :)

Clark Family - St George Ut Family Photographer

For Father's Day, the Clark Family wanted to take pictures to surprise the fathers and men in their lives. I love capturing children! We did a bunch of just sisters/and mom shots. So fun! I love how each session I do has its own challenges and presents something new for me. New people, new locations, new lighting. I truly love what I do!

Buttars Family - St George Utah Family Photographer

I'm able to photograph a lot of families! While it poses its own challenges from other portrait sessions, I absolutely love taking family photographs. I know how important it is to capture memories! (I'll be posting my own family pictures today on the blog) I also enjoy meeting everyone! I have met some really awesome and amazing people through my photography. It's strengthened me personally in ways I would have never imagined.

Next up today is the Buttars Family. Beautiful family, wonderful people!
