Me!

I've been wanting to update my "about me" photo on my website. I don't get many pictures taken of myself, because I'm usually the one behind the camera! Go figure.
Last night, my family and I were in Springdale (near Zions National Park) for a concert and I seized a short opportunity to take a mini photoshoot with my brother before the concert. He has a photographic eye and I love the photos he helped take of myself.

(I need to do a little face clean up in photoshop on this one..)

Photo(s) of the day

My husband left this morning on his Harley motorcycle to go on a trip to Phoenix. Last night he was getting his bike ready for the trip and I took these shots. Happy Friday!

Greg and Karen's Wedding

Weddings are one of my favorite things to photograph. I know first hand how important it is to have great photos to document such a special day. I strive to do the best I can for wedding photos. I had a wonderful time photographing Greg and Karen's wedding. It was a very nice ceremony. Best wishes for a happy and wonderful marriage, Greg and Karen. Thanks for everything and letting me be apart of your special day.

Family Session: The Merrill Family

I cannot even begin to explain how much this family means to me and my family.
This is my husband's boss' family. We have become great friends since Mike started working and managing Anytime Fitness over a year ago. Sara has been absolutely wonderful and a great friend to me. I'm so glad that I was able to take their family photos! It has been Sara's camera that she has been so gracious to let me use on most of my recent photo shoots. It's super high-quality and I hope one day to be able to afford such a professional set up. You can tell by the photos below of the quality of photos it gives. These are a few of my favorites from our session:

Thank you, Merrill Family!

Soft and Sweet

Another I Heart Faces photo challenge!

This is my son when he was 7 months old (he is now almost 2 1/2 years old!). I took this photo when I started getting serious about photography. I love his expression!
